Several of the Early Photographs of Chester Park Recently Donated to The
Office of The Historian of The Town of Pelham
Yesterday I posted an item about a recent donation made to The Office of
The Historian of The Town of Pelham. See:
Thurs. June 1, 2006:
Early Photographs of Chester Park Among Materials Donated to The Office of
The Historian of The Town of Pelham
In that posting I provided a photograph of the board to which a number of
early photographs of Chester Park are affixed. During the next few days I
will provide digitally enhanced copies of the photographs for the readers
of the Historic Pelham Blog. Two appear immediately below.

The image immediately above shows an early, undated view of the entrance
to Chester Park seen from Central Avenue.

The image immediately above is an early, undated view of the area in front
of "The Homestead", the home of William Standen, one of the developers of
Chester Park.
