06/24/1664 - Thomas Pell grants
what came to be known as the Eastchester Planting Grounds to James Eustis and
Philip Pinckney for themselves and their associates to the number of Ten
Families, to settle down at Hutchinson's, that is where the house stood, at the
meadows and uplands to Hutchinson's River"; this was the beginning of the Town
of Eastchester.
